paragraph: The Irish Penny Whistle features a chromatically sampled alto tin penny whistle. This classic folk instrument falls into the fipple flute family, similar in design to recorders and Native American wooden pentatonic flutes. The flute was recorded dry, capturing standard sustains, vibrato, flutter tongue and trills, as well as staccatos (4x round-robin), short performance phrases and effects. The library also comes complete with plenty of additional sound design atmospheres and flute soundscapes. It’s a total of 140 MB installed, with 14 instrument presets and 128 samples.
